Big Update in Aarogya Setu App: Delete Acc. And Share data.

Arogya Setu now allows you to delete your account and share health condition to other Apps

Yesterday, the Indian Government COVID tracking and information Application got an update with the addition of some useful options to the end-users. if we look back to the history of this application this government app face a lot of allegations by the users related the privacy issues but with this update developers of the app finally brings the rigid option to delete the account of from the Arogya Setu app for permanently.

This update brings two major features to this COVID-19 contact tracing application the first one is the deletion of the user account and the other one is allow an external application to access your health status, this feature exists in the settings menu named "Approval for Arogya Setu Status" this features allows third-party apps to allow access the health data of the Arogya Setu. 

The way of deletion of the Arogya Setu account is simple you have to just enter your number which is linked with Arogya Setu and that's it and "Delete my account" will permanently delete all your data from the application.

Worth to note that deletion of account is just deleted your application data, but on the government database of the Arogya Setu application. As per the policies of, they keep our data for the next 30 days.
