For the very first time, the 6 series of Qualcomm Snapdragon got the compatibility of the advance networking technologies because, on 16th of June,2020 Qualcomm announced a new chip 5G chipset name Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 5G, and making this CPU first 5G in the 600 series of chipsets.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 5G supports various latest features from the Qualcomm as this chip supports the X51 snapdragon 5G moduleQualcomm 5th gen artificial intelligence engine, capability of capturing 4k HDR video with the stabilization and most importantly support for higher refresh rate display up to 120Hz.

This CPU natively support for India's NavIc satellite navigation system and all these features paired with the up to 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM.

Indeed, this chipset is way faster then the previous Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 because of the 8nm fabrication by the Samsung and a total of 8 Kryo 560 central processing cores that runs on the 2.0 GHz on top that Adreno  619L GPU provide a boost in graphical intensive works and especially in games. If we compared with Qualcomm Snapdragon 675, this latest CPU is 20%-25% faster in terms of CPU performance and up to 60% faster in the GPU performance perspectives as per the company claims.
