After the long wait and the demands of Mi fans, Xiaomi revealed the Smart TV box named "Mi Box 4K" at the online launch event of Mi 10. This Smart TV box support multiple streaming applications as this Mi Box is runs on the Android TV OS version 9.0 Pie. This small box has the ability to convert to standard feature TV (Non- smart Tv) in the Smart one.

As this box is running on the Google Android TV OS the UI is fairly clean and user-customizable unlike the other Mi TV's that has PatchWall Skin on the Android TV OS. The software experience is far better than the PatchWall user experience because of the stock user interface as this is fast and very responsive and didn't show any kind of weird suggestions and you also get fast future updates.

The specification of this smart TV box is looking very great on paper if we compared two other streaming devices such as Google Chromecast and Amazon Fire TV stick they both do not even stand alongside with MI box 4K in terms of performance and features as this Smart box support media casting because it has built-in Chromecast that enables casting at 4K resolution which is not even in the Amazon fire TV stick and Google Chromecast is only restricted to 1080p resolution and if we want to cast 4K resolution video or some media we have to pay some more amount of money in Google Chromecast.

This device is very well apt for playing 4K HDR videos this device support HDR 10 so basically, you can enjoy your favourite content on specific applications such as YouTube Netflix, Amazon prime in high dynamic range.

The price is also very interesting of this MI TV box as many other streaming devices cost over 5000 rupees but Xiaomi e decided to keep its price very competitive as it costs only 3499 Indian rupees. The first sale starts at 12 noon on the 10th of May 2020.
