Let's meet with the Jio Meet
Reliance confirmed that they are working on the Video-conferencing application for India as they saw a huge strike in the video meetings Softwares from the past couple of weeks due the COVID-19 as many people work from home, they required a good and stable video chatting application for their day to day essential work of the association and many tech companies also started working on this category of application such as Facebook and even Google free their premium video meeting service "Google Meet" for all users. As Reliance saw the heavily packed competition of the video conferencing service they also want to step down in that and this the reason Mukesh Ambani's Jio stepped into this and unveiled their app called Jio Meet.
Currently, Jio meet is not available for the consumers, well it is available for a while but it was taken down for some reasons and this app will be available very soon in the future as Jio are working on it and it will be available on the fourth quarter(Q4) of 2020. Jio Meet allows up to 100 participants but the limit will be increased by the future software updates and more importantly this application supports multiple platforms such as Android, iOS, Windows, macOS as per the New18 article.
Some reports are also suggesting that this video conferencing application will be used by the schools and college for conducting educational classes, yet there is no official confirmation for that but, tons of features will be add in the near future.
