During the time of the lockdown, most of the people watch multi TV series and web series for their entertainment and the top streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hotstar VIP and many more decided to cap their content to the just standard definition from the FHd or 4k. There is a big reason behind the process of limiting the resolution of the content.
The reason is if you switched to the high definition content you will consume your data very quickly as compared to the SD quality content. For reducing the consumption of the data, all the giant streaming services decided to cap the online content.
The data industry has decided to act rapidly in the whole nation to confirm the robustness of the cellular network.
Even COAI(Cellular Operators Association of India) also requested the consumer of India to consume data more systematically and responsibly
