Redmi Note 8 Pro gets 84 in DXO

DxO rating for Redmi Note 8 Pro is revealed on the website

Budget camera king is now listed on the DXO mark website but the scores are not that much eye-catching as it looks on the paper, moreover, scores are even lesser than the 2018's POCO F1 that listed with the decent 91 marks on-camera performance. It is very surprising that Quad camera setup with the whooping flagship-level 64 megapixels primary lens stand far behind the 2 cameras of POCO Phone

On the other hand, video performance is also not that much optimized as it would be. It is even lesser than the camera performance as it gets only 78 DXO marks, which is considered as a not so decent videography performance.

It is clearly depicted that Xiaomi needs more optimization to perform better than other smartphone optics. It should be a great lesson for the OEM companies that they think using a big naming camera lens mechanism can boost the performance but that is not the case. Software and computational photography are equally important as Google knows it.
